What’s My Life Position and why is it important? - with Anita Mountain
What we believe about ourselves, other and life affects our decisions and behaviours. From the shop floor to the board room, people need to relate effectively with each other, and the quality of their communication is an essential part of this. Communication is most effective when people are respectful of each other. Without respect, more time is spent on defending or attacking, than on problem-solving.
In this workshop we will explore OKness which is one of the basic tenets of Transactional Analysis, commonly referred to as the life position. If we can assist our coaching clients to understand their own life position and where they come from in communication we can enable them to raise their own awareness, increase their effectiveness and develop their resilience. Of course, the same goes for us as the coach!
Come along with your interest, curiosity and knowledge so we can co-create and make this a dynamic session.
