Featurespace receives UK Tech Award for innovative anti-fraud platform

Market leading fraud detection platform, ARIC Fraud Hub, won the UK Tech Award for Innovation of the Year in London. The award is the latest in a long line of recognition for the company's machine learning software, including the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Award for AI Company of the Year, presented on the same night.

The UK tech awards is a showcase for the fast-moving tech sector, celebrating the successes of the UK tech community, while the Innovation of the Year Award is given to recognise those leading technological change, disrupting the status quo across all industries and to recognise outstanding success in commercialising new technologies.

Previous winners of the Innovation of the Year category include machine learning cyber security company Darktrace, which this year joined other UK Tech Unicorns in reaching a valuation of over $1BN.

The public recognition of our effort is a reward to be shared by everyone who has helped us, selected us and works for us."

Featurespace has had an outstanding year, picking up over a dozen accolades in as many months, including a Queen's Award for Enterprise Innovation and a string of honors celebrating the team. The company has also been ranked in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100, plus best innovation in predictive analytics from CogX, and awards for best Anti-fraud solution from FS Tech Awards and the Cards & Payments Awards.

In 2019 Featurespace plans to increase its workforces in Cambridge, London and Atlanta, creating over 100 new positions to meet rising customer demand.
