Learn the ancient art of tree identification with CambridgePPF this Saturday 13 December.
Having basic tree identification skills has many practical benefits beyond tree spotting in your local forest. Trees form the base of the food chain and many species depend on them. Knowing how to identify trees will help you spot wildlife in the countryside and will also enable you to encourage more wildlife into your gardens.
Join local charity CambridgePPF at Wandlebury on Saturday 13 December from 12.30pm for this workshop and acquire the basic skills for tree identification using bark, buds, leaves, shape and form, then go on a tree trail to put those skills to use.

Cost: £6 per person / CambridgePPF members £5. The workshop is open to adults only. Booking is essential as places are limited. Please dress for being outside. Directions: Wandlebury Country Park is located on the A1307, 2.5km south of the Addenbrooke’s roundabout. Parking available on site at a cost of £3 per vehicle, CambridgePPF members can park free of charge.
