Presented by BBC Look East anchor man Stewart White, the devolution debate is likely to be a wide ranging one, looking at how devolution could affect the East of England, how it would be administrated, what impact it would be likely to have on businesses and residents, and asking whether the region has sufficient definition and character to stand out from the rest of the south east.
The panel is made up of politicians from the main parties - Bernard Jenkin (Conservative), Rupert Read (Green), Richard Howitt MEP (Labour), Sir Bob Russell (Lib Dem) and Lisa Duffy (UKIP) alongside a group of 18 experts from business, education and local government in the eastern region.
The debate is being recorded at the new University Technical College Cambridge - Robinson Way CB2 8PX - this Sunday 2 November from 3.30pm – 6pm.
The programme is part of a BBC-wide project involving all regional TV teams in making a debate programme to be transmitted simultaneously on Wednesday, 5th November – BBC at 10.30pm.
