Boasting a cast of 43 adults with varying learning disabilities and of different ages, the adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream took place in the beautiful Fellows Garden.
Suzanne Moore, lead project worker, said: “OWL is part of Papworth Trust, a leading disability charity which supports thousands of people, their families and carers each year with a wide range of services. We campaign to promote changes in society so that everyone can have the same opportunity whatever their ability.
"OWL Productions was created due to the interest and skills from the individuals attending. From the first production to Saturday’s it was clear how those taking part had grown in confidence and gained skills such as making eye contact and voice projection.
"This show was more challenging, due to a more complex script, new venue and larger audience. I’m delighted with the amazing performances that the cast and their supporting crew delivered.
"We must say a huge thank you to the Master and Fellows of Jesus College for allowing us to use their beautiful Fellows Garden as the perfect backdrop to our show.”
