The agency’s work on the Big Push for the Rosie Hospital Campaign for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) was crowned with a Gold award for Regional Campaign of the Year and also won Silver in the Not for Profit category.
The awards were presented to Natalie Yates, owner of MayFifteen Communications, and her principal PR associate, Theresa Prevost, at a black tie gala dinner at Trinity Park, Ipswich.
The CIPR PRide Awards recognise excellence in the PR industry across twelve UK regions. Entries are received from freelancers, consultancies and in-house teams. The judging process for the awards is rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners.
Reviewing MayFifteen Communications’ awards entry, the East Anglia judging panel said that the consultancy had: “Demonstrated that charity really does begin at home with a comprehensive campaign that engaged the local target audience and resulted in significant regional press coverage, as well as meeting fundraising objectives.”
Natalie Yates said: “Theresa and I loved working with ACT on the Big Push for the Rosie Hospital. It’s such a special place that touches the lives of so many people. We were pleased to be part of something that inspired so many individuals, schools, local businesses and community groups to get involved. Receiving recognition from our peers with these two industry awards feels very special.”
Jo Morris, Media and Communications Manager at Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT), said: “Congratulations to Natalie and Theresa. They showed real dedication and enthusiasm for the campaign from day one, preparing a highly creative PR plan that clearly demonstrated awareness of our audiences and key messages. Working closely with our team they used a variety of tools to bring the campaign to life, helping to raise £150,000 of our £3.6 million total towards our much-needed new hospital for women’s, maternity and neonatal services. We are really pleased that the Big Push for the Rosie has been recognised by the PR industry.”
