The awards celebrate the PR successes from across all regions of the UK and there was a particularly strong showing from PR agencies and in-house teams from across East Anglia, Thames and Chiltern this year.
Judged by panels of industry experts, the prestigious awards recognise the outstanding work that PR agencies deliver to employers and clients, marking winners out as industry leaders in their area.
Thirty-four agencies and in-house teams have been shortlisted from across East Anglia, Thames and Chiltern. Cambridge-based Mobas and Buckinghamshire-based Cirkle PR have both been shortlisted for five awards, closely followed by Genesis PR in Ipswich with three awards. There has also been a strong showing from in-house teams, with Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals and Essex County Fire and Rescue Service both receiving two nominations.
Adam Tuckwell and Amanda Bunn, joint Regional Chairs of the CIPR for East Anglia, said “The annual CIPR PRide Awards represent the best, most creative and most effective public relations work across the UK. The shortlist is a testament to a thriving regional industry here in the East of England, and all those shortlisted should be hugely proud of their achievements. This year’s Pride Awards have been the most hotly contested awards, and the quality of entries making the shortlist is exceptionally high. With a broad range of in-house teams and agencies showcasing their work, it is clear to see why the region is becoming a powerhouse for PR.”
Full shortlists for all Regions can be found here https://www.cipr.co.uk/content/awards-events/pride-awards. Anglia, Thames and Chiltern’s PRide award dinner is to be held on 22nd September 2016 at Homerton College, Cambridge. Winners of all other regions will be announced at award ceremonies between September and the end of the year.
