Introduced by British Cycling’s Tony Purnell, a former Cambridge award winner, and presided over by the mastermind of Business Weekly, Tony Quested, the evening also saw the introduction of the Kate Gross Award for Social Enterprise, and its presentation to Ann Cotton, founder of Camfed.
On receiving the International Trade Award on behalf of TWI, Christoph Wiesner, TWI Chief Executive said: ‘It is great to be recognised by industry peers in this way and a fitting reward for TWI staff all over the world who have worked so hard to ensure our success in the last few years.’
