The teams have formed Varsity Voices to sing what they hope will be a big Christmas hit.
“No Christmas without You” is an original song written by Matt Bond and Martyn "Ginge" Ford and features the voices of eight players who hope to be representing their clubs at this year’s Varsity Matches at Twickenham on December 10th.
The Varsity Voices Marketing Manager behind the song said: “Leonard Cheshire Disability is our official charity and we were looking for another way of raising even more money to help fund the great work they do. Knowing that we all like a good singalong in the showers after the game, we came up with the idea of a Christmas song.”
“Matt and Ginge’s song is so catchy and we really enjoyed recording it. Now we have the finished version we know it has a good chance of getting into the charts.”
