The Sigma Theta Tau International’s (STTI) 4th Biennial European Conference will be held at Anglia Ruskin University’s Cambridge campus from 4-6 June to discuss research, education and innovation in nursing and their effect on global health.
Keynote speakers include Annette Kennedy, the President of the International Council of Nursing, Professor Marit Kirkevold of the University of Oslo, and representatives from the STTI.
Around 300 delegates from approximately 30 countries across the world, including Brazil, Saudi Arabia, the United States and South Africa will be in attendance.
Anglia Ruskin’s Dr Leslie Gelling, chair of the local organising committee, said: “It is a great honour for Anglia Ruskin to be hosting this prestigious nursing conference and we are looking forward to welcoming nurses and healthcare practitioners from all over the world to Cambridge.
“There will be a strong emphasis on collaboration and leadership for this event. At a time when there are a multitude of challenges facing healthcare providers, it is more important than ever that we work closely with nursing colleagues across the world to collaborate on research and help guide policy and improve patient care.”
