This charitable event is free of charge and will take place at our Quayside Office on Monday 20th of June. Student spots are almost filled but we are very keen to attract more coaches to help with our learners, at this event, and for future codebar events!
If you believe you would be able to dedicate some of your time to help coach on the day, Audio Analytic is sponsoring the event and providing free food and drink no alcohol) for all attendees, as well as the use of our facilities.
The level of expertise of codebar learners can range from absolute beginners to those looking for help solving specific problems; but its main purpose is to build excitement for, and confidence in, coding and programming, for those who may otherwise feel excluded.
codebar welcomes any applications to be a coach in Cambridge, but we are particularly keen to hear from potential coaches for this month's event, ideally (although not necesscarily) from those who are:
- Comfortable coaching at any level, particularly beginners
- Coaches who are keen to support the learning and development of underrepresented groups in the tech world, and champion diversity issues
- A level of knowledge in Python, Git or JavaScript would be a particular advantage for this event, but is by no means essential
