Magdalene is one of the most beautiful colleges in Cambridge. It has the longest river frontage of any Cambridge college, and we are located near the centre of Cambridge without being right in the centre.
Magdalene College is looking for an experienced Chef to work as a Chef de Partie in our team of catering staff. The catering team are responsible for the production of food for students, Fellows, staff and guests and the Chef de Parties are responsible for initiating and overseeing the production of all meals during the shift, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
We would like to hear from candidates with previous experience in a Demi or Chef De Partie role, preferably within a formal or fine dining environment who have excellent cooking skills, the ability to multitask and the ability to work under pressure.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week and attracts a highly competitive salary of £33,157 p.a. along with excellent benefits including:
