The Device Developers' Conference will take place in Bristol (May 14th), Cambridge (May 16th) and Manchester (May 22nd). It is a new event for engineers and project managers working to develop intelligent systems and devices, providing them with a chance to learn about the newest technology, and to meet industry experts. Session 1 of the workshop will work through examples of setting up complex breakpoints to trap obscure problems, running performance analysis to help with code optimisation, viewing and manipulating complex variable types, statistical analysis of code and other examples of ways to make code development easier. Session 2 will show how to make debugging easy by going back through the code to the point that the error occurred, and then for critical applications, how to obtain code coverage information down to assembly line level, investigate code nesting, measure best and worst case timings for each section of code and export this information for reports and qualification procedure.
