Katrina specialises in non-contentious construction law and her experience includes advising employers, developers, main contractors, sub-contractors and professionals.
She regularly advises on construction documents including industry standard and bespoke forms of building contracts, appointments, warranties and deeds of novation and is able to draw from her experience on secondment working in-house for a national contractor.
Having previously worked in a combined construction and real estate role for a number of years, Katrina also has a wealth of experience in advising on construction aspects of real estate transactions.
Commenting on her appointment, Katrina said: “I am really pleased to be joining one of the largest construction and engineering legal teams in the eastern region and look forward to contributing to the firm’s success.”

Katrina is based at the firm’s Cambridge office but supports colleagues across Birketts’ four offices: Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich.
