The college has set up a partnership with the university after hosting a visit by leading staff, including Professor Kim Ju-Sung, President of Ansan University.
The first students are due to arrive in Cambridge this summer, when they will spend four to six weeks learning English at a summer school at Cambridge Regional College.
More students are expected to follow them, when they will combine vocational training with English classes during the Korean university holidays.
It will be the first time students from South Korea have studied at CRC, which has a thriving international programme and welcomes students from across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
CRC’s head of international programmes, Assistant Principal Trudie McGuinness, said: “We were delighted to host Professor Kim Ju-Sung and his colleague Professor Jeong Seungjo, Dean of International Affairs at Ansan, and we look forward to seeing their students at CRC.
“Welcoming students from esteemed organisations in South Korea is an exciting new step for us in developing our international community of students. CRC values diversity and having students from all over the world adds so much to the culture of our community.”
