Cambridge, UK: Adviisa has closed a £425,000 equity investment round from UK angel investors and appointed Russell Gould as its Founding Chief Executive Officer. The funding will support further product development, team growth and the onboarding of more adviser partners and customers.
Adviisa is a company's trusted business memory, owned and controlled by the company. It brings together documents, advice, decisions and evidence, shows what is missing and guides the work to close the gaps. Everything confirmed stays with the company, ready for the next event, the next adviser and the next decision.
Most owners and advisers will recognise the problem. Documents, advice and the reasons behind key decisions sit across systems, inboxes, professional firms and people’s heads. When a buyer, investor or new adviser starts asking questions, the business has to piece together what happened, why, and whether the supporting evidence still exists. That can mean paying to reconstruct information the business once understood, while unresolved issues emerge with little time left to address them.
Adviisa is developing a range of applications around that shared business memory: Exit Ready, Funding Ready, Compliance Ready, Onboarding Ready and Succession Ready. Each helps companies and their advisers understand what an event requires, assess the information available and work together to resolve gaps before they become urgent.
The company is already working with adviser firms and their clients to shape and test the platform, with early customer work focused on exit preparation. The documents, evidence and understanding confirmed through that work remain available to the company’s leadership team, its advisers and authorised AI, within permissions controlled by the company. Each event adds to the record, reducing what needs to be rediscovered and re-explained next time.
Gould joined in September. He brings leadership experience building and growing digital businesses across financial services, travel and property, alongside advisory work with established companies, startups and early-stage businesses. He also mentors entrepreneurs on the MSt in Entrepreneurship programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
Russell Gould, Founding CEO of Adviisa, said:
“Businesses spend a great deal on professional advice and important decisions. Too often, the thinking behind that work is hard to find just when a buyer, lender or investor asks for it. Owners go back over old ground, and advisers spend valuable time hunting for documents and reconstructing the past.“We want that work to leave the company stronger. Owners and advisers should be able to build a trusted record together, address gaps early and carry that understanding forward. Our early customers are helping us focus on exit preparation, but the memory they build should keep working for the business long after a deal is done.
“Cambridge is the right place to build this. The mix of founders, technical talent and experienced advisers
here is already helping us test the product and open useful conversations.”
