Faye is Board Director of CW (Cambridge Wireless), Technology Advisory Group Chair of Cambridge Ahead and co-founder of Impact Women’s Network. She joins other Cambridge women such as: Business Weekly’s Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2019, Poppy Gustafsson, co-CEO, Darktrace; Athene Donald, Professor of Experimental Physics, University of Cambridge and Master of Churchill College; Carrie Anne Philbin, Director of Educator Support, Raspberry Pi Foundation; and Sam Smith, Head of IT Strategy and Architecture, LGSS, and Strategic IT Lead for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Cambridgeshire County Council.
Faye Holland said of the award, “It is an honour to be included in this list, together with so many successful women in technology. As a big supporter of inclusion in technology, I’m especially pleased to see the overall list growing to a phenomenal 360 women. This means the work we are all doing is starting to gain national recognition, which is a great thing for our industry.”
Faye has worked in the tech industry since 1995, initially with internet service provider start-up PIPEX, through to many deep tech roles within IBM’s Emerging Business Units. She still is a moderator and emcee for a global tech start up competition, and much of the business built at Cofinitive is with tech start-ups, scale-ups and established businesses.

The short list has now been published having been selected by expert judges. The 50 names of the women who have made a significant contribution to the technology industry will then go forward to a reader vote. This vote will help to decide the winner of this year’s Most Influential Woman in UK Technology award.
