Curious about the Living Wage?

Join Cambridge City Council on 3 November to find out what the Living Wage is and to hear from employers who've adopted it.

Cambridge City Council would like to invite local employers to attend an event on Monday 3 November, between 4 pm and 6 pm in the Guildhall, to discuss good employment practices that support staff on low incomes. This event is an opportunity to share experiences about best practice and to find out more about the Living Wage and how some local employers have taken it forward as a part of wider initiatives to motivate and retain staff who work in the City, where the cost of living is so high.

An increasing number of employers in the City believe that the adoption of the Living Wage is the right thing to do and is good for their businesses. The Council is keen to celebrate their contributions during Living Wage Week and to help raise awareness of this approach amongst the wider business community.

Please contact Graham Saint at graham.saint@cambridge.gov. uk or telephone 01223457044 to confirm your place at this event. A pro-forma for this event will be available shortly.
