Debate looks at the impact of the Baby Boomer generation

Can many of society's problems today be attributed to the 1960s Baby Boomer generation?

A debate inspired by David Willetts' widely praised book The Pinch: How the Baby Boomers Took Their Children's Future - And How They Can Give it Back takes place on 12 March (6pm) at Anglia Ruskin University's Cambridge campus.

The debate will certainly arouse some heated views.  According to David Willetts, the baby boomers stole their children's inheritance.  But did that 60s generation also corrupt our social, moral and cultural values?  What are your views?

The panel includes Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Minister for Universities and Science; Aaron Porter, Higher Education consultant and former President of the National Union of Students; Julie Spence OBE QPM, former Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire Police; Christopher Maguire DIp, ARch, RIBA; Claire Fox, the director and founder of the Institute of Ideas and Prof Michael Thorne, Vice Chancellor of Anglia Ruskin University, with Colin Walsh, co-founder of Book Production Consultants plc presiding.
