Downing College wins Best Customer Service at the BID Awards 2018

Downing College is delighted to announce that it haS been named the winner of the Cambridge BID ‘Best Customer Service’ award in the ‘University B&B’ category.

Members of the Downing College Conference and Functions team accepted the award at a ceremony held at St John's College, Cambridge last week.

Cambridge BID (‘Business Improvement District’) has a membership of over 1100 businesses and is recognised for having one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the UK. The awards are judged on the basis of ‘secret shopper’ experiences in the spring and summer. Given the high standard of the competition, this is a huge accolade for the College and a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our Porters, Housekeeping, Conference, and Catering teams.
