Embedded Linux, embedded Windows and realtime OS's at UK Device Developers' Conference

Wind River, QNX and SDC Systems will be just a few of the vendors of embedded software that will be exhibiting and presenting at The UK Device Developers' Conference.  Delegates will get the chance to have informal discussions with industry experts in this field and explore the very latest technologies for future projects.

The UK Device Developers' Conference is a one-day conference for developers of intelligent systems and devices, taking place in Bristol (14th May), Cambridge (16th May) and Manchester (22nd May). The conference will offer engineers and embedded computing professionals a packed agenda of technical workshops, presentations and a tabletop exhibition.

Distributor of embedded systems tools and technologies SDC Systems will be exhibiting its Timesys embedded Linux OS solution and also giving a presentation on the management of open source software for commercial projects.

For engineers working with Embedded Windows, Blue Chip Technology will be exhibiting their latest RE3 hardware/software platform that offer fast boot time and impressive graphics capability. The company will also be presenting and running a workshop on how best to exploit smartphone technology.

“For engineers working in this space, this will be an opportunity to meet a broad spectrum of industry suppliers in a single location,” said Richard Blackburn. “Furthermore, there will mostly be technical personnel, presenting and manning the stands, so the focus will be on the technology and the exchange of information.”

A key feature of the Device Developers' Conference is that it is a single day event, which takes place in three locations. This enables engineers to attend with the minimal of travel time and expense.
