By integrating the course schedules from over 75 specialist training companies, Focus provides the widest possible choice of high quality Project Management and IT training.

Course categories such as PRINCE2 and Microsoft Technical remain important, but there has been more growth in other sectors. There are now over 1,700 Agile, Scrum and other specialist project management courses.

Another strong category has been Business Analysis. As organisations implement major restructuring with IT at its heart so the importance of aligning new systems with business objectives becomes paramount.

Focus has also added new technical skills training to its capability. In particular Linux and Red Hat training are now available reflecting the growing adoption of open source operating systems by mainstream organisations.

All 13,000 courses can now be explored using the new search tool on the Focus website at www.focus-on-training.co.uk

More courses and improved web tools will help both individuals and Learning and Development specialists. However, customers such as brewer SABMiller choose Focus because of the independent advice and efficient booking service which the company provides.

Bill Morgan, IS Capabilities Manager, SABMiller says, “I chose Focus as I was looking for a ‘one stop’ solution to our technical training needs which encompass project management, service management, architecture, business analysis and the majority of IT technical training needed for a medium size IS department.

“When booking candidates on to the courses, Penny and her team provide an excellent fast and professional service and I’ve been impressed by the high level of customer service and flexibility.”

Focus Managing Director Steve Twine comments, “We have been pleasantly surprised by resilience in the training sector. Some aspects of the market are under pressure but there is continued strong demand for training which will enhance business critical skills, or help individuals develop their careers.”

Focus is a leading training organisation specialising in accredited best practice training for Project Management and IT. Courses are available on both a public schedule and on-site basis.

The Focus schedule includes 13,000 training courses in 150 locations so it's easy to find convenient dates and venues. The Focus on Training website shows course status and allows fast online booking.
