Sensors in Medicine 2021Sensor Technology SessionTuesday 9th November

Speakers at SiM21 Sensor Technology session

The second afternoon session of SiM21 is about innovative advances in sensor technology.  This annual event tends to focus on academic research, although commercial innovations ae not excluded by any means.

This year's program includes an outstanding panel of speakers, all with international reputations:

  • Dr. Can Dincer, IMTEK, University of Freiburg
"Integrated sensing devices for point-of-care diagnostics"

  • Prof. Danny O'Hare, Imperial College Department of Bioengineering
"Exhaled condensed breath sensors for non-invasive monitoring"

  • Dr. Pawan Jolly, Harvard University Wyss Institute
"Ultrafast antifouling nanocomposite coating enables highly sensitive multiplexed electrochemical detection of biomarkers in unprocessed whole blood"

  • Prof. Deblina Sarkar, AT&T Career Development Chair,  Professor at MIT Media Arts and Sciences
    "Few atoms thin ultra-sensitive biosensor"

Registration is now open.  Registration fees are waived for students presenting posters, and delegates attending for just Exhibitor Day on 8th November.
