Can you edit the site?
A website is only as good as it is easy to update. Is the administration area intimidating and confusing and overwhelming? Ask to see how it will look. We edit the administration area to make it more accessible and user-friendly.
Ownership
Once the website is live and paid in full, you, the client owns the site. Why not ask for a full backup of the website. You should have the ability to transfer your site to another host.
Do they outsource?
Does the agency have the skills to build websites inhouse or are they giving the project to a freelancer? We keep the design and build inhouse so we can control quality and deadlines.
SSL Certificates
All websites must have an SSL certificate. They encrypt the data passing between you and the website. Users can be blocked accessing your site by their browser if you don't have an SSL certificate.
