We are delighted to announce that we have joined the o2h Discovery Platinum Partner Programme, enabling eligible companies within our bio-incubator and wider affiliate network to access specialist drug discovery support through the o2h Kickstarter Award.
As part of our mission at the Milner Institute, we provide entrepreneurs with a comprehensive support system designed to facilitate the growth of entrepreneurial ventures from conception to realization. By joining the Platinum Partner Programme, we are further enhancing the ecosystem of support available to early-stage companies within our bio-incubator and affiliate network.
Eligible companies introduced through the programme may benefit from:
- A dedicated team of six synthetic chemists for up to six months to accelerate small molecule discovery programmes.
- High-purity linear, cyclic and constrained peptide synthesis support to rapidly expand peptide SAR programmes.
- 100 complimentary ADME points and a 20% discount on biology services.
- Integrated project management support delivered through o2h Discovery’s multidisciplinary discovery teams.
The Kickstarter Award is backed by o2h Discovery’s integrated drug discovery platform and team of more than 800 scientists, providing support across medicinal chemistry, peptide discovery, ADME and biology. Since its launch, the award has supported more than 40 biotechnology startups globally, including companies across the UK, USA, Europe, Australia and Israel.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment between Milner Therapeutics Institute and o2h Discovery to strengthen the biotech innovation ecosystem and help promising science progress more efficiently towards meaningful therapeutic impact.
Alexandra Huener, Head of Entrepreneurship at the Milner Therapeutics Institute said:
"We’re delighted to become a Platinum Partner of the o2h Kickstarter Programme. Supporting early-stage life science companies is at the heart of what we do at the Milner Institute’s Bio-incubator, and this partnership will help more founders access the expertise and resources they need to accelerate their science.
"We’ve already seen the value of the programme through our former resident company, TRIMTECH Therapeutics, which received an o2h Kickstarter Award and worked with the o2h Discovery team to advance its medicinal chemistry programme and targeted protein degradation platform. We look forward to building on that success and helping the next generation of biotech companies translate promising science into new therapies."
