Today, Microsoft has taken a significant step forward to empower businesses to achieve more with the first complete cloud offering delivered from a global provider within the U.K. Built to power their digital transformation, Microsoft Azure and Office 365 are now generally available from new data center regions.
Key points include:
- Starting September 7, 2016, the new Azure regions UK South (London, England) and UK West (Cardiff, Wales) are available to Azure customers globally.
- Starting September 7, Office 365 will provide storage of core customer data at rest in the UK for new tenants; customers must have a billing address in the UK to be eligible.
- Dynamics CRM Online will be available from the UK data center locations for customers with a billing address in the UK in the first half of 2017
