The awards offer an opportunity to highlight an outstanding contribution to materials joining and welding technology, celebrate enterprise and acknowledge the good work of others.
There are awards for individuals as well as teams and those under 40, allowing you to ensure credit is given where it is due.
Winners will be invited to attend the prestigious Welding Institute annual dinner in early July, 2018. In addition to this, awards can offer a significant cash prize and prestige among industry experts. Each award winner will also have their name added to permanent panels in The Welding Institute boardroom at TWI’s Cambridge headquarters.
This year will also see an extra incentive for nominators, who will be entered into a prize draw to win a champagne tea on the Countess of York vintage railway carriage at the National Railway Museum in York or, alternatively, vouchers for Betty’s Tea Rooms and online shop.
