It is led by the Health Foundation and supported and co-funded by NHS Improvement.

The Eastern Academic Health Science Network (EAHSN) has partnered with Q to help grow the community in the East of England. The Q community complements and underpins EAHSN's improvement activities by providing access to a national network to share ideas, enhance skills and collaborate to make health and care better.

The community is made of up a diverse range of people including those at the frontline of health and social care, patient leaders, managers, commissioners, researchers, policymakers, and others. There are currently 799 members in the community, and by 2020 we anticipate a community of thousands – all belonging to an established long-term home for improvers.

Q is not a taught programme, but a network of support for those already knowledgeable in undertaking improvement. There is no membership fee or minimum time commitment. Q is designed to support busy people with their current improvement work, on-going development and promote their visibility as a leader of improvement.

Applications close on 12 June 2017
