Polysolar needs your vote!

Cambridge-based Polysolar, which has been selected to present at Pitch@Palace 4.0 at St James's Palace next month, is urging fellow Cambridge businesses to get behind it in the Pitch@Palace People's Choice vote.

His Royal Highness The Duke of York, KG, founded Pitch@Palace in 2014 to support entrepreneurs with the amplification and acceleration of their business ideas by connecting them with potential supporters including CEOs, Angels, mentors and key business partners.

Polysolar applied directly to participate at Pitch@Palace 4.0, and was selected as a finalist after making a presentation at the Pitch@Palace Boot Camp, held at Imperial College last week. Polysolar is one of 15 participants who will have the opportunity to do a three minute pitch in the State Apartments at St James's Palace on on Monday 2nd November 2015.

Polysolar is a Cambridge company which develops window glass that generates electricity. With its transparent photovoltaics integrated into the building envelope, renewable energy can be delivered for only a marginal additional build cost.

Pitch@Palace People's Choice Vote

All 42 entrepreneurs who attended the Boot Camp will take part in the Pitch@Palace Peoples Vote which launched yesterday (Monday 19th October).  This is a vote based around a one minute Pitch video – see http://www.pitchatpalace.com/peopleschoice

Hamish Watson, Polysolar CEO said: “We’re delighted to be taking part in Pitch@Palace, as it endorses the significant potential our technology has to enhance the urban environment. The whole event reinforces the UK’s leadership in entrepreneurship and in tackling key issues of our time using technology.”

The Duke of York said: "I am immensely proud of the achievements of the Entrepreneurs in the Pitch@Palace programme, they have shone a light on the diversity and imagination across the country, clearly demonstrating that pursuing an idea or dream can be realised with knowledge and determination.”
