Possibly the most reliable embedded systems platform on the planet

SafeTTy Systems will demonstrate its ReliabiliTTy software platform at the UK Device Developers' Conference.

SafeTTy Systems Ltd have announced that they will be launching the first members of their much anticipated ReliabiliTTy® family at the Device Developer’s Conference 2014 in Bristol (UK) on 20 May.

The 2014 Device Developers’ Conference covers four dates and four locations.  Starting with Bristol on Tuesday 20th May, the event will then visit Cambridge (22nd May), Manchester (3rd June) and Scotland (5th June).

SafeTTy Systems Ltd regard the ReliabiliTTy® family of platforms as a solution that has the potential to transform the development of reliable embedded systems for a very wide range of application sectors, from household goods to automotive and medical systems.  ReliabiliTTy is a newly created package backed by two new patents: it is sold in the form of a royalty-free technology licence, accompanied by comprehensive reference designs in both C and Ada.

“We shall introduce our new ReliabiliTTy® technology using two very simple, off-the-shelf development boards,” said Dr Michael J. Pont, CEO of UK-based SafeTTy Systems (pictured). “At first glance, it doesn’t look like much, but we’ve found that – once we’ve demonstrated what the system can do - most experienced developers are amazed by what can be achieved with such every day, low-cost boards and ReliabiliTTy technology.”

The Device Developers' Conference is a one-day conference for computer scientists and electronic engineers that work in the development of intelligent systems and devices. The event consists of technical workshops, presentations and an exhibition, providing an important opportunity for engineers and vendors to share knowledge and explore new technologies.

SafeTTy Systems Ltd will run a prize draw at its stand at each event, with the winner being awarded a 12-month ReliabiliTTy Licence.  The company will also be offering everyone who visits its stand a 50% discount on their first ReliabiliTTy licence, whilst delegates that attend Dr Pont’s half-day workshop will receive a 60% discount.

“Dr Pont is widely recognised as a leader in the field of time-triggered embedded systems,” said Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager. “This really is an important opportunity for developers to explore and learn about new approaches to the development of reliable embedded systems. In this respect, the Device Developers’ Conference is very much about the sharing of information and the exploration of new technologies. “

SafeTTy Systems Ltd provides support for developers of reliable, real-time embedded systems in sectors including aerospace, medical, industrial, automotive, marine, defence, satellite systems and high-end consumer goods.  The company’s products are provided in forms that are suitable for use in IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 62304, IEC 60730, DO-178c and similar high-integrity and safety-critical ‘certified’ embedded systems.
