IT Managed Services company Riverlite, based in Cambridgeshire, has been awarded Premier Partner status from Cisco, reflecting Riverlite’s new depth of skills in understanding Cisco technology.

As an expert IT Managed Services supplier, Riverlite holds strong relationships with a range of vendors and provides IT support services for organisations across the county, in sectors including housing, retail, manufacturing and education.

Premier Partner status is offered to those organisations that meet set Cisco criteria. To achieve the new higher standard, Riverlite demonstrated its strong sales, technical and service capabilities for integrated, highly secure networking solutions and showcased increased technical competency within the company (classed as Cisco Express Foundation Specialization). Riverlite also offers a Cisco Powered Managed Service as part of its overall Cisco offering; to either proactively manage a customer network through a dashboard or providing the ability for customer led infrastructure management with Riverlite support.

Speaking about the new accreditation, Riverlite Managing Director Paul Oggelsby said: “Our partnership with Cisco offers our customers access to the world’s leading network manufacturer, with the delivery of their latest innovative products directly from Riverlite. The relationship with Cisco is very important to us and we are proud to have been recognised with this new accolade; demonstrating our commitment to Cisco and to continued professional development.”

Riverlite will continue to work closely in the months and years ahead with Cisco focusing on OpenDNS as part of their managed Security service “Sentry”; providing advanced threat protection for any device, anywhere, anytime. Riverlite will be kicking off the renewed partnership by exhibiting at the UK Security Expo on the 30th November as part of a joint partnership with OpenDNS with the aim of tackling and addressing increasing cyber security issues.
