Sable&Hawkes was commissioned following a competitive tender process and the site went live last week at http://www.ttpmeteor.com

It functioned but lacked visual appeal and created entirely the wrong impression of Meteor as a business. Today Meteor is growing fast and adding several new customers every month. With the new site, Sable&Hawkes have helped us communicate the core values of the Meteor brand instantly, whilst providing a much richer information source for our existing and future customers. The site works equally well whether visitors are deeply technical printing systems designers seeking accurate information, or potential new customers wanting to understand our heritage and values as a business partner. Most importantly, given the high rate of new product development taking place, we can add new product pages ourselves following clear and graphically pleasing templates. ”
As a first step, Sable&Hawkes worked closely with the Meteor team on the creative position and getting the key messaging right. This process then fed into the the information architecture and interface design, which was complimented by art directed photography of the Meteor team and technologies.
The back end is a simple WordPress system that empowers the Meteor team to create and manage website content without any technical knowledge or experience of web design or development.
