The Trauma of Typos

Always check your content for typos. A few seconds of care can save a lot of embarrassment...

Part of a message, which reads: My advice is very simple. If you want to get into the top universities - including Uxbridge - it's all about hard work.

I’m sometimes asked to give advice on how to get into Oxbridge - Cambridge or Oxford universities.

Leading a cours.e at Cambridge means I have useful insights to impart, in the view of my questioners, at least.

I’m always happy to respond, as the answer is straightforward.

There's no special trick, no secret, no hidden revelation. 

Nothing like that. 

So there's no problem whatsoever in sharing the insight.

The problem is that I use a dictation app for many of my messages.

And sometimes, it doesn’t quite catch what I’m saying.

Which is when checking back becomes very important indeed.

As to the secret of getting into Oxford or Cambridge, and the trauma of typos...

You only need see the important part of the message I rather stupidly sent, as in the picture.
