Undo discusses recent advances in debugging at Device Developers' Conference

Undo's CEO Greg Law will discuss recent developments in GDB that can greatly enhance how software developers debug their code.

Undo, the leading supplier of next generation debugging tools for Linux and Android, will be presenting at this year's UK Device Developers' Conference, taking place near Cambridge on the 27th and 28th April.

Co-founder and CEO Greg Law (pictured), will discuss recent developments that can greatly enhance how software developers debug their code.

"I’m delighted to have been invited to present at this year's developers’ conference," said Greg Law.

"I’ll be discussing GDB, and how it has come a long way in the last few years and does so much more than break, print, step and continue. I'll be explaining how Reversible debugging, Non-Stop Mode, Multi-process Debugging, and Dynamic Printf are some of its best features, and how its built-in Python scripting is particularly powerful.”

TheUK Device Developers' Conference is an event for engineers and software developers working in the development of intelligent systems and devices. This year’s conferencewill be co-located with H/WExpo, a conference for hardware developers.

“We are very pleased to have Greg presenting this year,” said Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager. “There is no doubt that Undo has been pushing the barriers of what is possible in the realms of debugging, so I feel sure many developers will be keen to learn from Greg’s experiences and achievements.”

Undo's technology enables software developers to record, rewind and replay their C/C++ code in test suites and offline. Developers can rapidly diagnose failures in production and test environments, respond quickly to customer critical bugs, increase their productivity and meet development deadlines.

Used by over 1,000 developers to solve complex, real-world problems for leading Silicon Valley companies and world leaders within the banking, embedded and enterprise sectors, Undo’s family of tools reduces debugging time from weeks to minutes, while seamlessly integrating into existing development environments. Undo's technology was awarded 'Best Software Product' at the 2015 ARM Innovation Challenge and was chosen by Gartner as a 'Cool Vendor in Application Development'.
