Undo exhibits Linux and Android reversible debugging tools at conference

Undo - which this week announced a successful new funding round - will be available to discuss and explain its Linux and Android reversible debugging tools at the UK Device Developers’ Conference next month.

Undo, the leading commercial supplier of Linux and Android reversible debugging tools, has announced that it will be exhibiting at this year’s UK Device Developers’ Conference taking place near Cambridge on 14th May.

Undo will be available at the Conference to demonstrate and explain how its tools can increase developers’ productivity and help them meet their development deadlines.

The UK Device Developers' Conference is a one-day conference for engineers and computer scientists involved in the development of intelligent systems and devices. It is an event that explores the very latest tools and technologies available and includes a vendor exhibition, half-day technical workshops and a series of informative technical presentations.

“We will be at the Conference to introduce engineers and software developers to Undo’s high-performance record-and-replay reversible debugging tools for Linux and Android,” said Elan Tanzer, Vice President of Marketing at Undo. “UndoDB's ability to record program execution allows developers to run or step their application backward and forward, all without the need for instrumentation or software annotation. With the new Live Recorder module, developers can get straight to the root cause of bugs that are upsetting their customers post-release, enabling rapid fixes without needing to travel to the customer site.”

Established in 2005, Cambridge-based Undo offers solutions for the reversible debugging of Linux and Android Software to help developers record and rewind code in real-time to find bugs quicker and save on finding and removing bugs; a cost which Cambridge University estimates at $312bn annually.

“We are very pleased to welcome Undo to this year’s Conference,” said Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager. “The intention of the Conference has always been to introduce new and exciting development tools and technologies. In this respect, UndoDB is an exciting feature of this year’s event.”

The Device Developers’ Conference is to take place in Reading, Cambridge, Warrington and Uphall (Scotland) during May and June 2015.  Undo will be exhibiting at the Cambridge event.  The Conference, including the technical presentations, is free to engineers and technical project managers. A small charge is made for places on the half-day technical workshops.
