08-10-2012

ESP Knowledge Transfer Network, University College London and Cambridge University are staging an event to bring you in direct contact with some of the UK’s leading research institutes.

Universities and academia are keen to engage with industry through collaborations, access to equipment & facilities, licensing of technologies etc. Find out what these institutions can do for your company. We think you will be surprised.

Recent similar events run by ESP and partners have resulted in a range of business/academia collaborations. Technologies will include photonics, electronics and sensors, controls and similar areas with applications in related industry sectors.

With ESP, this event is sponsored by world leading British universities, UCL and the University of Cambridge, joining forces to develop the next generation of photonic systems, pioneering research with light, by combining their photonics expertise to establish an EPSRC funded Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Photonic Systems Development, leveraging their current strong collaborations in research and innovation. The Centre trains postgraduate students, collaborating with leading companies and research centres worldwide. (More about the Centre at www.photonicsystems.org.)
