Benefit from a market analysis by world-class MBA students

Time is running out! If you have a product, treatment or service that would benefit from 'real' market analysis from a team of bright and resourceful Cambridge Judge Business School MBA students, you are reminded to submit a project proposal before Wednesday September 2nd.

The Cambridge Venture Project (CVP) is the first 'live' project for the Cambridge MBA programme, in which a team of four or five Cambridge MBA students are assigned to work with a company/organisation or entrepreneurial venture to estimate the potential market for a new product or service. The project provides an important opportunity for MBA students to practise and reflect on the skills of teamwork, leadership and the management of interpersonal relationships that they are studying on their course, while providing real value for clients at no cost.

Cambridge Judge MBA students are professionals with an average of seven years' work experience,  from over 40 countries. Its cohort represents a wide range of sectors and job functions, and all students have excellent business and academic references. Year-on-year, businesses are delighted with the outcomes of the Cambridge Venture Project, often integrating the findings of project reports into their future plans.

Who should apply?

Your company should have at least four employees and a product, treatment or service for which you may want to:

  •  Investigate market opportunities
  •  Evaluate consumer behaviour and competitive forces in relation to these, using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques
  •  Generate insights into potential strategies, opportunities for commercialisation and possible routes to market.

The school often works with companies outside the Cambridge area, provided they are able to have regular face to face meetings with their CVP teams in Cambridge.

Timing and cost

The CVP runs from October to December 2015. You will be required to attend the hour long final presentation between 7- 10 December at Cambridge Judge Business School. As a client, you will own the IP of the findings.

No fee is charged - any direct project expenses necessary for the CVP are met by the client and reimbursed directly to the student team.
