New Business Apps

There are several new apps that should be launching soon, all of which are targeted at getting small businesses online and working much more efficiently. These are:

1 MileIQ

An app that automatically tracks miles every time you drive your car to simplify expenses reporting and tracking.

2 Microsoft Bookings

An app for small businesses who provide services to customers on an appointment basis e.g. financial services providers, law firms, consultants, hair salons etc. It offers a booking page where customers can schedule appointments and business facing dashboards to give an overview of customers, bookings, schedules, services, pricing, and contact information. 3 Invoice

Generating invoices on the go

4 Spend

5 Point

Word of mouth referrals. Aimed at customer satisfaction recommendations to show credibility and value to potential customers. This is believed to be the mature product from the Microsoft Garage “Home Team” project. Click the images below to read more:

6 Presence

Creating and measuring your online presence.

These all have their place in an organisation and fit perfectly with our key message of Business Cloud Integration. While they may not be practical for all business sizes, they do all leverage the API mechanism to keep company data flowing. These will be the first tranche of many new and super useful apps, and we see investment in teams to keep bringing these to the forefront. For more on this from ZDNet click the image below:

7 Skype Teams

Another development of interest which is again no secret to those in the know, is the Skype Teams project creating a competitor to Slack. Click the image below for more info:
