Flusso Ltd
Flusso is a flow sensor company, close to Cambridge North station, developing products specifically for use in cost-sensitive, high-volume applications. It was spun out of The University of Cambridge in 2016, and acquired by a company and global private equity fund in August 2022.
The company's first two products are: the FLS110, the world's smallest flow sensor; and the FLS122 the world's smallest thermal air velocity sensor.
Both products have a footprint of just 3.5 mm by 3.5 mm and use a novel low-cost integration concept so manufacturers can easily add flow measurement features wherever they want to within their products. Whereas traditional flow sensors tend to be modules, making them expensive, bulky and difficult to integrate.
