Mission Street primarily invests through a Joint Venture with BentallGreenOak , a leading global real estate investment manager with $80bn of assets under management. BentallGreenOak is majority owned by Sun Life Financial, a Canadian financial services company and one of the largest life insurance companies in the world. The JV is growing its platform via ground-up developments and the re-purposing of existing assets in areas across the UK that are anchored by strong research and development credentials. The venture can also partner with public and private bodies to build successful open innovation ecosystems.
