TWIIN Partner Matching and Brokerage Workshop

The third online workshop, in our series on the EU’s €95 billion Horizon Europe programme, is for UK and European businesses who are interested in winning a share of this funding to undertake technology-based projects.

Sustainable, Secure and Competitive Energy

TWI has a long track record in supporting companies and RTOs to form consortiums with TWI Industrial Members, Innovation Centres and technical leads, and like-minded businesses. Consortium members then work collaboratively to develop proposals for new technologies, systems, products or processes that could secure substantial public funding to turn their new concept into a tangible project.

This forthcoming workshop will focus on sustainable, secure and competitive energy in relation to: renewable energy; energy system, grids and storage; and carbon capture, utilisation and storage. Novel technology projects are being sought that can underpin the modernisation of energy networks to support energy system integration, and the development of innovative energy (chemical, mechanical, electrical and thermal) storage.

Impacts the funding is planned to deliver include making Europe the first digitally enabled circular, climate-neutral and sustainable economy; reduced costs, improved efficiency and the de-risking of renewable energy and fuel technologies, and their value chains; and better integration of renewable energy and renewable fuel-based solutions in energy.

WORKSHOP AGENDA

Technology concept pitches by TWI’s Innovation Centres and technical leads

Find out what new concepts our technical teams are working on that they are looking for consortium partners for, and see whether your business has a matching or complementary idea you can align with one, or more, of theirs for mutual benefit.

Interactive networking and technology matching

After the pitches, discuss any of the technology ideas that you find of interest with representatives from TWI Innovation Centres and technical teams, as well as fellow attendees. TWI’s Technology Innovation Management team, who assist with new concept development through to submission of completed proposal, will also be on hand to answer any questions you have on Horizon Europe and funding application processes.

This workshop will be delivered via the online platform Wonder, rather than Zoom, as it offers a superior interactive networking experience.
Please register for the workshop to secure your place.
