The Widening Participation (WP) Team at the University of Cambridge is looking to appoint an Evaluation Manager to provide expert input and support delivery against the University's Access and Participation Plan (APP).

The Access and Participation Evaluation Manager will oversee monitoring and evaluation strategies for centrally delivered WP programmes, providing advice and guidance to delivery teams, as well as supporting colleagues across the collegiate University to develop evaluation frameworks. They will work with teams across Education Services to embed evaluation into their interventions to ascertain impact and inform programme design and delivery.

The Access and Participation Evaluation Manager will have expertise in evaluation methodologies, ideally within the Higher Education sector, and will be confident to support and train a wide range of practitioners across the collegiate University to develop confidence in evaluation theory and practice. They will support the University's evaluation Community of Practice and represent the University in external conferences.

The role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, an ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, excellent IT skills, self-sufficient and highly organised.

Student Admissions and Access and the WP Team have agile working practices, which means there is flexibility in where and how colleagues work. This generally means a mix of remote and office working.
