The Role: 

We’re looking for a strategic and commercially focused professional, with a passion for understanding the needs of different buying groups and translating that into compelling product positioning and messaging. Your excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams will help more technology-driven businesses around the world scale up Database DevOps and deliver valuable innovations faster. 

Your Work at Redgate Software: 

  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to define the market opportunity for a product and lead go-to-market strategy. 
  • Gather market intelligence, including buyer persona insights and competitor analysis for a group of products, sharing your knowledge with colleagues in Sales, Marketing and Product. 
  • Develop and deliver thought leadership angles and stories that position Redgate as a credible technology partner. 
  • Partner with Product Management to influence the future direction of our solutions and growth of our business. 
  • Use a self-starter approach to develop product positioning and messaging that supports sales enablement and drives the creation of content marketing and brand awareness & demand generation campaigns. 

What You Bring to the Table:  

  • Proven experience of: 
  • B2B software commercial or marketing strategy development. 
  • Creating consensus between sales, product and marketing. 
  • Customer and competitor research and analysis. 
  • Setting metrics and reporting on go-to-market success. 
  • A deep understanding of what’s important to multiple personas, including senior decision makers, and developing tailored messaging and collateral designed to resonate with them. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to draw insights and act on findings. 

 

Who You Are: 

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, juggling multiple stakeholders 
  • Self-starter, with the ability to exercise credible judgement and decision making 
  • Key skills include a creative approach to solving complex problems, together with strong organization and communication 

 

Tech Stack:  

  • SalesForce 
  • Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
  • Marketo 
  • Google Analytics 

 

Impact Plan:  

  • 30 Days – focus on understanding the team, products, customers, and your role 
  • 60 Days – begin taking responsibility for delivering against the go-to-market strategy, including the development of messaging and positioning, sharing of insights and contributing innovative ideas. 
  • 90 Days – up and running in your role and team! 

What’s the package?

  • You’ll work around 40 hours – we are open to candidates who want to work 4 days a week.
  • Salary is £50K – £60K, depending on experience
  • A great benefits package.
