Course Outline
Influence is a key skill for anyone working in modern, matrix organisations. Often a perceived lack of influence leads to deep dissatisfaction in the workplace and beyond.
This workshop uses the Insights Discovery model to help you understand your own communication style and recognise the preferences of others. You will learn how to adapt your approach to build rapport, increase collaboration and communicate with greater impact.
The day includes reflection, discussion and practical activities of increasing complexity. Participants receive peer coaching and feedback, working wherever possible with real situations from their own roles. You will leave with a simple, memorable model that you can apply immediately to strengthen your influence at work.
To support lasting change, this programme includes a one hour follow up coaching session 4–6 weeks later. This personalised session builds on your action plan and helps embed new behaviours through real world reflection and guidance.
"The structure of the training was very effective, divided into knowledge based and practical exercises. I also found it helpful to work in groups, which reminded me how I deal with different situations. Overall a brilliant and insightful training course which I highly recommend."
