The organisers say:

Our first virtual meeting will take place over two afternoons on 20-21 January via Zoom. Two new speakers have recently been added to the programme:

  • On 20 January Roya Ghafele, Managing Director at OxFirst, will talk about IP valuation for management purposes and then lead a panel discussion on IP valuation.

  • On 21 January Christian Bunke, European Trade Mark and Design Attorney and CEO at Basck, will speak about the recent UK IPO Opposition case between University of Cambridge and Cambridge Spark, after which the latter were allowed to register their company trademark. There have been several other similar cases recently, so this should prove a thought-provoking presentation.

The full programme can be viewed on our website. The event will be as interactive as possible with Q&As and discussions.

Booking is via Eventbrite and costs £54 to participate in the two-day meeting.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available, contact info@ciipm.co.uk for more details.
