Become a citizen of Terramar, urges Hermann Hauser

Dr Hermann Hauser, CBE FRS FREng, Cambridge Network director and one of the region's most successful leaders, has become a citizen of the Terramar Project and recommends that all Network members follow suit.

Hermann says: “Terramar is an initiative to give us, the people of our planet, a say in what happens to the world's oceans - which according to a UN resolution we own.  I would like to encourage our Cambridge Network members to become citizens, as I have. It does not cost anything but could have great long term importance.”

The Terramar project is explained on its website: "Becoming a citizen of TerraMar enables you to become part of the first high seas community. The worldwide collaboration gives a voice to marine life that cannot speak for itself. You are standing up for the future of 45% of our planet. The high seas are the least explored, most ignored place on earth. They may be out of sight, but should not be out of mind."
