Employer Champions could work with a school's senior managers to develop strategic plans for employer engagement; attend careers events to talk about jobs in their sector; support schools to develop employer-focused attitudes and behaviours; or arrange visits and talks - all designed to help students prepare for their futures.
Employers, in turn, can improve their understanding of the education sector and gain a lot of personal and professional development. Several employers have already expressed interest in becoming Employer Champions and CAP will be matching these with schools and announcing its first Employer Champions later this month.
