Explore the possibilities at Cambridge Network events

The diversity of Cambridge Network's Business Lecture series is highlighted by the next two speakers - Neil Carson, CEO of chemicals giant Johnson Matthey next Tuesday, followed by 'professional explorer' Justin Miles next month. Sign up now for your place at both events!

Neil Carson is a sustainability champion. After a career in both the UK and US working in several Johnson Matthey (JM) businesses in the chemicals and autocatalyst fields, he joined the board as Division Director of Environmental Technologies in 1999.

He identified sustainability as a key business driver and the division he led has grown into the largest business in JM, contributing over 65% of revenues.  JM's sustainability initiative, 'Sustainability 2017', is on track to reduce the company’s environmental impact per unit output, while more than doubling earnings per share.

Justin Miles (pictured) suffered a car accident, which resulted in brain injuries that left him having to re-learn basic functions, from walking to talking. During his self-designed and administered recovery plan, Justin came up with a crazy idea to change his life and become a 'professional explorer', using his adventures to support charities and to fuel an education project. With that objective in mind he developed goals and then set about turning his dream in to a reality.

Now, 13 years on, Justin tackles some of the most challenging expeditions and adventures all over the globe in polar, mountain, desert and jungle regions.
