Greatest Cambridge Science Centre hits at half term

It's half term and the Cambridge Science Centre will be bringing all your favourite demonstrations and activities to ensure you have a spectacular break!

 

From 10.00-17.00 on 23-31 May there will be a great range of hands-on activities including:

Make a Bug
Get stuck into infectious diseases and find out more by making them! From those that help you to those that harm you, you will be creating them all! 

Slime making 
Back by popular demand, the Cambridge Science Centre will be offering drop in sessions in slime making: a taster in polymer science.

Leaning tower of pasta
The ultimate tower building challenge - using just spaghetti and marshmallows, build the tallest, strongest or most imaginative tower you can.

Also... 
Engineering Atoms
Join Caroline Goddard from the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy for this drop in workshop to discover how atoms are being used to develop new metals for the jet engine.

The Naked Scientists Live: Amazing Animals

Join the Naked Scientists to decide once and for all, which animal is the most amazing, as our panel of experts fight it out to have their chosen animal crowned the winner!

This event is part of a series of regular recordings of their BBC radio show each month at the Centre.
