Impact Women's Network delves into virtual interfaces

How far will virtual interfaces go?

Impact Women's Network banner featuring Inas Ismail.

On the agenda for a while, but the pandemic accelerated ways of delivering service to customers that were not walking into stores, they are now part of everyday life, from entertainment to business - AR avatars, AR indoor navigation, remote assistance, integration of AI with AR and VR, mobility AR, AR cloud, virtual sports events, eye tracking, facial expression recognition. The list goes on.

Adoption of digital forms using technology such as augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed reality will accelerate with the growth of the 5G network and expanding internet bandwidth.

For its session on 6th October, Impact Women's Network will be joined by Inas Ismail.

Inas will talk about her experience of “fusing evidence-based intervention techniques, human-centred design and gamification” through her founding and development of Autsera.

Inas Ismail is the co-founder of Autsera, building smart games to help children with all abilities develop their social skills. She’s passionate about inspiring women and minorities through education, access to opportunities, and inclusive tech.

Inas holds a PhD in engineering from UC Berkeley, USA, and an MSc in economics from IEM, Milan, Italy. Before co-founding Autsera, Inas ran Arab Women Voice, encouraging women through media, and worked at BBC world service as a presenter and reporter.
